Beautiful illustrations, very detailed line work. A splash of red mixed with the grey tones looks really lovely. I actually have the red riding hood lady on a t-shirt at home, it’s a very pleasing t-shirt in my wardrobe. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the image is striking and beautifully detailed and after seeing it a lot whilst wearing it my love of it has not lessened. All skill put aside however, Courtney’s work has a very feminine element to it, in the subject matter and other, and at this point in time I have grown quite ill of all this hyped up feminine art with no meaning. These are skillfull interpretations of fairytale characters but in no way ground-breaking art.
